September 9, 2025…MR. D.I.Y. Holding (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing, continues to support environmental initiatives by delivering more than 1,000 used plastic bottles to be upcycled into reflective vests.
These vests will be provided to sanitation workers across all 50 districts of Bangkok, enhancing their safety while on duty. The initiative is part of the Bangkok Magic Hands “Sort to Give… for Bangkok Road Sweepers” project, under the Department of the Environment, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), with Panuwatt Ontes, Director of Solid Waste Management Strategy Office, BMA, receiving the bottles at the Drop off Point, Bangkok City Hall, Din Daeng District.
Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing Department, stated, “MR. D.I.Y. is committed to conducting environmentally friendly business operations. This plastic bottle delivery activity was initiated through the cooperation of our employees, who embrace our Green Culture and promote social and environmental responsibility. The sorted bottles are upcycled into reflective vests for road sweepers, improving their safety at work while also demonstrating our dedication to driving a Circular Economy that recovers and retains value from resources. At the same time, this reflects MR. D.I.Y.’s commitment to sustainable environmental care. In addition, MR. D.I.Y. has also organized a campaign to ‘Reduce the use and separate used plastic bottles within the organization for the second consecutive year. This effort helps reduce carbon emissions, mitigate climate change, promote recycling, and add value to waste materials through the Bangkok Magic Hands project, ensuring that used plastic bottles are returned for recycling to maximize their benefits.”
