KBank Becomes First Southeast Asian Bank to Achieve CDP A List Four Years in a Row

As a result, the Bank has been assessed at the Leadership Level across all three dimensions – climate change, water, and forest management

December 24,2025… Chongrak Rattanapian, KBank President, said, “In 2025, KBank has been rated at the highest A List level from the Carbon Disclosure Project [CDP], a globally recognized organization specializing in evaluating environmental management disclosure, for climate change management and disclosure. This marks KBank as the first bank in Southeast Asia to achieve the A List level for four consecutive years. This year also marks the first time KBank has been awarded the highest A List rating for water management, along with an A- rating for forest management.

The above assessment results reflect KBank’s strong commitment to becoming a Bank of Sustainability and a leader in environmental management across all dimensions. The Bank has undertaken environmental initiatives in a serious, continuous, and transparent manner, with clearly defined strategies to support environmental management.

Additionally, KBank is driving sustainable lending and investment to reach a target of 400–500 billion Baht by 2030 in order to support customers in their transition towards low-carbon businesses through financial solutions, knowledge, and new innovative approaches. These efforts aim to appropriately manage environmental impacts both in the Bank’s operations and its portfolio, with the ultimate goal of enabling the Thai business sector and financial system to transition steadily and sustainably towards a low-carbon economy over the long term.

In 2025, the Bank has received outstanding sustainability assessments from various leading international organizations. For instance, it has been recognized as a member of the FTSE4Good Index Series by FTSE Russell for the 10th consecutive year. For the first time, it has also achieved the highest rating of AAA from MSCI ESG Ratings (following its consistent AA rating from 2015 to 2024).
