COFF locations nationwide. Each apron is made from four recycled plastic bottles. In addition, setting up plastic bottle collection points at Central Food allows everyone to play a part in recycling by disposing bottles correctly. Mineré is the first and only mineral water brand in Thailand to use recycled plastic, or rPET.”
Pattra said, Central Food, as a leader of food centers under Central Pattana, is committed to being more than just a real estate development.
“We strive to be an organization that contributes to building a sustainable society. The Bottles Reborn project, in its third year of collaboration with Mineré, reflects how the business sector can work with partners and the public to solve plastic waste problems creatively and effectively. We are proud to see plastic bottles transformed into aprons for our SO! COFF barista, as well as other staff at Central Food. This not only symbolizing the revaluation of something that many people overlook, but also serves as a symbol of sustainable waste management, helping to create a truly contribute to a sustainable, livable, and balanced future between people and nature.”
Over the three-year period of the Bottles Reborn project, combined with this year’s goals, it will have collected over 200 tons of used PET bottles for recycling. Central Food sells Mineré natural mineral water in 500 ml and 750 ml rPET bottles. Consumers can look for plastic bottle return points at Central Food Parks nationwide to join the effort to give new life to plastic bottles in Thailand, which contributes to Nestlé reaching its Net Zero 2050 goals.
