August 6,2025…SCG Packaging Public Company Limited or SCGP has been honored with two prestigious awards from the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard 2024. The company received the “Country Top 5 PLCs” award, recognizing the top five publicly listed companies in each ASEAN country, and the “ASEAN Top 50 PLCs” award, recognizing the top 50 publicly listed companies in the ASEAN region with the highest scores.
These accolades are part of the ASEAN Corporate Governance Initiative led by the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF), recognizing companies with strong corporate governance practices, as well as commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) responsibilities. The awards reflect SCGP’s dedication to transparent, ethical, and governance-based business operations to ensure sustainable growth across its value chain.
The award ceremony was recently held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was organized by the Minority Shareholders Watch Group (MSWG), Malaysia’s corporate governance expert and the country’s Domestic Ranking Body responsible for conducting the assessments.
